The house is for sale

It's a sad day here as my house is officially for sale. It's still hard to say it without tears. It's been a long journey to this point and unfortunately it has to end this way. Alcoholism can and will destroy your life. It's such a hard thing to beat and too bad for my kids we just couldn't win.

Spring is time for something new. Right?

Well, I'm still waiting for my something new. I have been tending my garden which is very therapeutic and it is starting to grow, if I can only keep that dog from digging everything up. I have been a very bad blogger and I am trying to get better, it took me awhile to just login. I have had a terrible cold the last two days and I have been staring at my computer and pretending to work. But I promise to be a better blogger from here on out, if not just to get back into taking pictures and actually getting them off the memory stick. Check back soon, I promise to update again soon.

Monday blog

My first blog and I can't believe Kari is the one that inspired me. Well the boys and I are home baking some dessert and watching Deep Sea something on Discovery. Alex is a definite brainiac, his new favorite shows are Mythbusters, discovery channel specials and cooking shows. Maybe I'll have my handsome son cooking for me when I'm old and grey. Oh wait I do have grey hair and I'm not feeling too young lately. Thank goodness for Duncan who can cheer you up and simplify things. Duncan is such a funny guy he always makes me laugh. Have a great night it smells like dessert is almost ready.
